Though many times my tears became an ocean
Surrounding me
It swallowed me whole
The clouds looming above me
But I never sank
I just caught on to the hand
that continues to catch me
Now I understand.
Those waters I waded in
That I swam across
got me to the place you
wanted me to be.
It all makes sense.
